Note to Tour Divide followers who live near the Great Divide Route:

Isolation / loneliness are as fundamental to a Divide racing challenge as self-supported logistics. Consume as much 'virtual racing' coverage as you can access, but please do not touch. Do not SPOT-stalk riders on course unless the Great Divide Route specifically travels through your village. Even then, always respect a rider's right to transition in peace. See Tour Divide rule # 3 for clarification. There is an online support group here if you need commiseration.
